Consignment Guidelines

• We accept new and like-new current brand name women's, misses and junior clothing (sizes 0-16), shoes, purses, accessories, and jewelry.
• No appointment necessary to drop off items. Come in anytime during regular business hours. We do not accept consignment drop off's on sale days.
• Clothing must come in clean and on hangers or folded in paper shopping bags. We do not accept drop-off's in plastic garbage bags. We will not accept items that have odors, hair, or defects. It is your responsibility to remove items with visible defects such as tears or stains before consigning them.
• We select what our customers want to buy from the items you bring in.  Please understand that our customers’ preferences must be our selection guidelines.
• Items are on consignment for a period of 60 days. After 30 days unsold item prices will automatically be reduced 50%. Marla Sue's has the right to adjust markdowns at any time for sales or special events.
• The consigned price is set by Marla Sue’s and is based on the condition, age, brand name and original retail price of the garment. We do no guarantee any prices.
• Items not sold after 60 days become property of Marla Sue's. We donate to local non-profit charities. You may pick up unsold items any time prior to the end of the 60 day consignment period. Retrieving items from the racks is the responsibility of the consignor. Please be sure to mark your calendar as we do not send reminders.
• We accept clothing seasonally. Please see below for what season we are currently accepting.
• Account balances of $20 or less can be picked up same day during regular business hours. For balances from $20 to $150 please give 24 hour notice to pick up a check. Balances of over $150 will be issued one week after requested.
• Credit balances not paid out within one year may be used for store credit only.
• All consigned items are subject to sales, in-store specials or coupons during their consignment period.
